Welcome to Camp PlanIt, a platform designed to help parents discover, organize, and share youth camps and activities. Camp PlanIt is operated by Little Sports LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how Camp PlanIt collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Camp PlanIt web application and website.

1. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information to provide and improve our services.

Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Password (securely encrypted)
• City and state
• Account preferences

Child Profiles (Optional)

If you choose to create child profiles, we may collect:

• First name
• Age or birth year
• School
• Interests or activity preferences

This information is used to help you plan, and to show school-community picks: camps that other families at the same school have chosen. Picks are shown only as totals, never with names, and a camp is never shown with a count below two.

Camp Listings and User Contributions

Users may submit or share information about camps, including:

• Camp name
• Camp description
• Dates
• Pricing
• Location
• Links to external camp websites

These submissions may be visible to other users of the platform.

Device and Usage Data

We may automatically collect basic technical information, such as browser type and server logs, to keep the service secure and working reliably.

Payment Information

Camp PlanIt is free for parents and families, and we do not collect payment information from them. Schools, camps, and businesses that buy partner or featured placements pay through Stripe. Camp PlanIt does not store credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and operate the Camp PlanIt service
• Personalize camp suggestions
• Enable planning and sharing features
• Send account notifications
• Send invitation emails from other users
• Improve app performance and reliability
• Provide customer support
• Prevent fraud or abuse

Sponsored listings are clearly labeled. We count how often they are shown and clicked, but those counts are not linked to your account.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

3. Sharing of Information

We may share information with:

Service Providers

We use trusted service providers to operate the app, including:

• Supabase (database and authentication)
• Stripe (payments from school, camp, and business partners only)
• Resend (account and notification email)

These providers process information on our behalf.

Other Users

Certain information may be visible to other users, including:

• Camps you add to shared plans
• Camp information submitted to the directory

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users.

4. Camp Information Disclaimer

Camp PlanIt aggregates camp information from multiple sources including camp websites, public listings, and user submissions. Camp details such as dates, pricing, and availability may change. Users should always verify information directly with the camp provider. Camp PlanIt is not affiliated with or responsible for third-party camps.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect user data including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS)
• Secure authentication systems
• Restricted database access

However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

Camp PlanIt is designed for parents and guardians, not children. Child profile information is entered voluntarily by parents and used only for planning and recommendation features. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Users may:

• Update account information
• Delete child profiles
• Request account deletion

Account deletion requests can be made through the app or by contacting support.

8. Data Retention

We retain account information as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide services. Deleted accounts may remain in backups for a limited time.
